SHANNON JEAN TIERNEY
About
Philosophy
As a young girl, I enjoyed summers in nature exploring the Northwoods of Wisconsin, thrifting, and learning how to reimagine the old. Fall and winter months were spent in Chicago enjoying the architecture, the trends, and culture the city had to offer. This dichotomy informed my personal style as well as my design philosophy that there is beauty in juxtaposition. I'm fascinated with how two fundamentally different elements, artifacts, concepts can come together to harmoniously define the same space. Old vs. new, geometric vs. organic, masculine vs. feminine all end in a beautiful truce with the right eye for design and attention to detail.
